Demi Rose attended New Oscott Elementary School before attending John Wilmot School for high school in Birmingham. She also went to Walsall College for higher education, where she took courses in beauty therapy and Spanish.

In March 2020, at the age of 17, her mother suffered a heart attack, which left her vulnerable and disabled. “I looked after him for many years, almost seven years,” Mawby recalled. "So my dad had cancer, and then my mum du rief khan died seven months later due to a stomach infection, and it made me grow up very fast and was very strong about things," Mavi told Podcast.
